Après un
exposé de la ministre de la Justice
suivi d'un débat, l'Assemblée nationale
burundaise a adopté mercredi la loi
sanctionnant le retrait du Burundi de la
Cour pénale internationale (CPI).
Comme le président Pierre Nkurunziza
l’avait souhaité, l’Assemblée nationale
burundaise a adopté, ce mercredi 12
octobre, le projet de loi relatif au
retrait de la CPI. « Le Burundi a adhéré
volontairement à la CPI. Le retrait est
aussi volontaire », a commenté
Laurentine Kanyana, ministre burundaise
de la Justice, peu avant le débat au
sein de l’hémicycle, assurant que toutes
les dispositions du statut de Rome ont
été versées dans la législation pénale
du pays.
Le texte a en effet été approuvé à 94
voix contre 2. Soit par plus des 2/3 des
104 députés présents à l’Assemblée
nationale. Quatorze d’entre eux se sont
abstenus.
PANIQUE A LA
CPI ET A L'ONU. LE NEW-YORK TIMES EVOQUE
"UN EXODE AFRICAIN" ...
OUI LE BURUNDI RESISTANT EST AU COEUR DU
COMBAT PANAFRICANISTE !
Avant sa
promulgation, le texte a déjà été
examiné par le Sénat qui à son tour l’a
adopté à l’unanimité. La chambre haute
du parlement burundais, est largement
dominée par le CNDD-FDD, le parti au
pouvoir.
C’est la
panique à la CPI et à l’ONU.
Le NEW-YORK TIMES
titre significativement : "Raising Fears
of a Flight from International Criminal
Court, Burundi Heads for Exit" !
Qui a voulu
semer les vents mauvais de la
déstabilisation occidentale à Bujumbura
a récolté la tempête à La Haye et à
New-York …

"NAIROBI, Kenya — The lower house of
Burundi’s Parliament voted
overwhelmingly on Wednesday to withdraw
the country from the International
Criminal Court, a move that
international justice advocates fear
could open the floodgates for other
countries to divorce themselves from
what was already seen as a deeply
troubled institution. No country that
has ratified the court’s establishing
treaty has ever withdrawn, though
several have threatened to do so, and
some countries that signed the treaty
have never ratified it, including the
United States. Africa is deeply unhappy
with the International Criminal Court,
based in The Hague, a seaside city in
the Netherlands. The court is supposed
to try cases of war crimes, genocide and
crimes against humanity from around the
world, but so far it has focused almost
entirely on Africa’s battlefields (...)"
